"Del Mate Productions" is a production company, recording studio and new independent label.
"Del Mate Productions" produced it's fifth "Fiesta Argentina" before a sold out audience at the John Anson Ford Amphitheatre, on Saturday August 21, 2010, at 8:00 pm., and it was another tremendous success. The Ford Amphitheatre is located at 2580 Cahuenga Blvd. East, Hollywood, CA 90068, just across the 101 freeway from the Hollywood Bowl. We are planning two exciting productions at the Ford Amphitheatre for next year. We'll keep you posted!
At "del Mate Productions" we're trying to give talented new artists a chance to get their work published and released, so you can have access to some exciting and distinct sounds which are largely ignored by the regular media. With all the new technology available, all the barriers of music styles are coming down. Now we can produce and record music that includes a myriad of world influences that only ten years ago were unheard of. This opens doors for musicians to express their creativity in new, intriguing,haunting and exciting ways. Del Mate Productions wants to bring some of these new creations to you.
"Ultimo Mate" solo album of Argentine rock star, Guillermo Bordarampé and "Araucana (Nite Rites)" by Chilean flutist and composer Ulises Pineda are the first two titles released on Del Mate Productions. INCA's recordings, "INCA, the Peruvian Ensemble", "Vientos del Sur", "Danzante" and "Que siga la farra" are available too. "Guayabo Nostálgico", the first album of "Cumbeley", the band of Colombian composer and singer Diego Palomino, with its poignant lyrics and fun Cumbia rhythms and melodies, as well as his first solo CD "Tu amor, mi amor", "Andes Trance", volumes I and II, albums of Zampoña player and composer Antonio Flores, with a unique blend of instrumental pieces ranging from Andean to Celtic sounds and melodies and the latest addition to the catalog is" Un mago para Olvidarte" by songwriter and singer Christian Galve, a great collection of original romantic Latin ballads, with arrangements by Guillermo Bordarampe, are available now. We hope that this is the beginning of a long and warm relationship with all of you.
"Noche de Tango 2011", at the Alex Theatre & "Fiesta Argentina 2011, mujeres en tango y folklore", at the Ford Amphitheatre
Del Mate Production's, will produce two shows this year. The first one at the Alex Theatre, on Saturday April 30, at 8:00 pm, "Noche de tango 2011", featuring the Buenos Aires Dance Co,. The second production this year is "Fiesta Argentina 2011, mujeres en tango y folklore" on Saturday August 20, at 8:00 pm, a show that emphasizes the contributions of women to the genres of tango and Argentine folkloric music. The show features Suni Paz, Stella Milano, Carlos Bosio, a live tango orchestra conducted by Argentine guitarrist and arranger Dino Durand and the Otero Dance Company, with their fiery and passionate tango choreographies as well as the traditional high energy gaucho dances, "Malambo", "Boleadoras", "Chacarera", "Gato" among others. Another unforgettable evening at the FORD.
"Fiesta Argentina 2010, Tango, cancion de Buenos Aires" on Saturday August 21, at 8:00 pm, a show that presented the evolution of Tango from its humble beginnings to the lofty position it has reached in the world in the last few years, was a huge success!
